#macbookneo #macgaming The new A18 MacBook is surprisingly impressive, both in price and overall capability. It also turns out to be a pretty fun machine for light and indie gaming. So in this video, we’re going to test its gaming performance across a mix of titles like Resident Evil 4, Cyberpunk 2077, Silksong, PUBG Mobile, and Destiny: Rising. 👉 Install MuMuPlayer Pro to play mobile games on the MacBook NEO: https://www.mumuplayer.com/k1/mac/ 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞: Play mobile games on Mac - https://www.mumuplayer.com/k1/mac/ Install Windows on Mac - https://prf.hn/click/camref:1101litDT Play Windows games on Mac - https://www.codeweavers.com/store?ad=XXX;deal=TOMMYDOAN15 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬: My Daily Mac - https://amzn.to/4dbhV0V SanDisk 4TB Extreme PRO - https://amzn.to/4jPZj96 UPERFECT OLED Monitor - https://uperfect.com/products/16-inch-3k-oled-120hz-monitor?sca_ref=8577376.wCKusKC7lF Apple Magic Mouse - https://amzn.to/42PyEU2 ➣ 𝐇𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/tommydoan34/ Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@tommydoan.ytb ➣ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐞 - tommydoantruong97@gmail.com More Tips, Tutorials, and Reviews can be found here - https://tommydoan.info/ Disclaimer - As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases for products I have personally tested and highly recommend on my channel.

About This Video

This might be the most interesting Mac Apple released in 2026—not because of the price, but because it’s the first time we’re getting a Mac powered entirely by an iPhone chip. In this video, I tested what gaming on the new A18 MacBook NEO actually looks like, and I ran a mix of games to see what works, what doesn’t, and what I’d personally recommend if you’re thinking about buying this machine. I started with Resident Evil 4 and honestly it ran pretty well: around 45–50 FPS at Full HD with MetalFX on Quality and most settings on Low, and I didn’t notice crashes or stutters. Cyberpunk 2077 was a different story—about 20–30 FPS on the “for this Mac” preset at HD, and even with frame generation it still felt stuttery and delayed. I also tested Silksong through CrossOver (translation layer) and got a smooth ~60 FPS, which is exactly the kind of lighter game that makes sense on this laptop. For the best experience with this MacBook NEO, I think cloud gaming is the real answer for AAA titles. And for local gaming, mobile games are actually a great fit—I use MuMuPlayer Pro to run Android games like PUBG Mobile and Destiny: Rising, and they run really well. Overall, I wouldn’t buy this machine specifically for gaming; it’s more for students/teachers doing light tasks, and if you want real performance, you should step up to a Pro/M-chip Mac or even a Mac mini M4.
