I’ve been making a lot of videos about playing mobile games on Mac, and in almost every one I get the same request: “Try Call of Duty Mobile on Mac.” So I finally did—and the answer is simple: it doesn’t work. I tried multiple ways, but once you log in and play a few matches, the game detects an abnormal environment and blocks you. And honestly, the worst-case scenario is your account could even get banned, so don’t even try forcing it. In this video I break down why this happens, and it’s not because your Mac isn’t powerful enough or because the emulator is “bad.” Activision doesn’t officially support emulators, and the only emulator that actually works with COD Mobile is GameLoop—which is Windows-only and currently has no workaround on Apple Silicon Macs. Instead, I recommend games that still give you that COD-like experience on Mac using an emulator that’s actually optimized: PUBG Mobile (battle royale), Standoff 2 (fast multiplayer / Counter-Strike style), and Destiny Rising (high-quality action shooter visuals).
