Signal integrity is becoming a much needed topic to learn among high speed digital designers. I've noticed that PCB designers working in industry are generally following rules of thumb to design printed circuit boards. That's fine, but it's not enough to start innovating in the realm of high speed digital pcb design. I'm not advocating to ignore rules of thumb, but I know we can do more as electronics engineers and PCB designers. PCB Design rules are good for the beginning of PCB design, but it will only get you so far. What happens if you have to create an innovative PCB layout? So in this video you'll get a glimpse of how you can use OrCAD PCB editor to view the single ended impedance of your copper traces on your printed circuit board. Use this as a validation check on your PCB to make sure those rules of thumb are actually giving you the impedances and IR drops you need across your PCB. πWould love if you SUBSCRIBE! π https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt4b6fKU3qd9blVN8t7U5Pg β¬οΈ DOWNLOAD My 7 Secrets to Become a Confident Pro Hardware Engineer EBOOK - CLICK the link below to join the group and get the PDF for free π₯ π₯ Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1150942355298671 LinkedIn Group: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13877175/ π΄πFOR BUSINESS EMAILS:- techedkirsch@gmail.com β οΈVisit My Business website for PCB Design Courses: β‘οΈ academy.hasofu.com ________________ ________________ π Follow my hardware design tutorial which contains proven steps and strategies on how to navigate your way through the printed circuit board design process to design your own printed circuit board! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDclr_SCaTAxEpaE0uf9RDQUNtW5YSoxW It covers almost every basic question that someone in industry will expect you to do as a beginner PCB designer. π Click the link below to join our group and download the Ebook Now Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1150942355298671 LinkedIn Group: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13877175/ πDonβt forget to SUBSCRIBE! π https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt4b6fKU3qd9blVN8t7U5Pg π Turn on notifications so you donβt miss an upload Also, like this video if you want more short tidbits of information like this.
