Winter is a great time to test your fieldcraft skills in the woods and try to photograph our beautiful native Roe Deer. With no tree canopy to block the light and the ground clear enough to move quietly some great images are there for the taking. I use large prime lenses and was looking for a new method to gain the stability required for sharp images.
