After a wet start to our Highland road trip we ended up in the Lochside town of Kinlochleven. After witnessing a fully grown stag just wandering down the centre of the main road in the middle of the day and having it confirmed by the locals that this was normal behaviour from the resident herd, I realised that this was an opportunity not to be missed.
