Without doubt the Bullfinch is one of our prettiest species. The male is simply stunning, so when I saw them starting to appear in the garden recently I immediately set about thinking of ways to capture some images. A couple of films ago I constructed a raised platform in one particular spot but was unsuccessful in my attempts. I than noticed them favouring one spot and in particular feeding one one of their favourite food sources. With this information in my grasp I set set about a plan to tempt them down to hopefully create some truly memorable images. Not only was I behind the camera but Mrs Eardley joined in too!!!
