The thumbnail of this video was made with AI… and so were a bunch of the images you see in it — and even the voiceover. In this one I break down five AI tools I’m actually using right now to speed up content creation as a YouTuber, especially for thumbnails, editing, and ideation. The biggest “wow” for me is training an image generator on photos of myself so I can prompt realistic AI photos of me in basically any setting. I’ve been using that a lot for thumbnails, and when you combine it with ChatGPT to generate thumbnail concepts and prompts, it’s like you’re getting one AI to prompt another AI. I also show how Descript fits into my workflow as a text-based editor with some genuinely useful AI features like filler word/pause removal, Studio Sound, and the eye contact tool. The feature I’m using the most right now is turning long-form videos into short clips fast. For ideation, Spotter Studio is one of the coolest tools here because it’s simple and fast — you can literally hit “surprise me” and get titles, thumbnail concepts, hooks, and even planning tools without typing. And to round it out, I cover how I’m using ElevenLabs to clone my voice (you need clean, high-quality audio), plus some extra features like text-to-sound effects and dubbing.
