About This Video

Over the past 30 days I spent over $1,000 on AI video tools, credits, and subscriptions—and honestly, a lot of it was a complete waste. Not because the tools are bad, but because I was using them wrong. In this video I break down what doesn’t work, what actually does, and the exact workflow I’m using now to get way better results without just lighting money on fire. The biggest unlock is simple: your prompt matters more than the tool. If you type something generic, you get generic, “looks like AI” footage. When you start prompting like a director—shot size, age, location, lighting, lens choice, camera movement—the output instantly feels more intentional. I also stopped writing prompts myself and started using ChatGPT or Claude to generate structured prompts, then I copy/paste those into Higgsfield. The second big shift is going image-to-video instead of text-to-video. I generate a strong starting frame in Nano Banana Pro (Nano Banana 2 is solid too), then bring that image into Higgsfield and add a motion prompt. Finally, I talk models and cost: Cling 3.0 is my best bang-for-buck, Google Veo 3.1/3.1 Fast is really solid (Fast is cheaper), and Sora looks good but gets expensive fast—especially with credit-based pricing.
