In this Project Pan 2025 Update (Update 8 for September), I’m doing a proper check-in because I was about a week late and I also found a couple of products I genuinely thought I’d lost. I go through my primers first (NYX Marshmallow mini, Hourglass Veil Mineral, and my Bobbi Brown Face Base) and chat about what’s actually moving versus what’s basically sitting there. The Bobbi Brown is where I’m seeing the most progress because it’s winter-friendly for me, but I’m trying to smash through it before summer hits and I get too oily. I also update you on complexion and powders, including how finicky my foundation is with primers (it only behaves with hydration), plus my slow-and-steady concealer progress because I just don’t use much. The most exciting part: I hit pan in my face palette… but not where I expected. I thought the bronzer would go first, but it was the highlighter, which was very unexpected (and honestly very satisfying). I also talk about neglecting some blushes because I’ve been testing heaps of new ones lately, give a real opinion on a lip gloss I’m not impressed by, and admit my perfume is going to take forever because it’s a bulky 100ml. Overall, this update is more about visible progress, realistic goals, and me needing to “get my butt into gear” for the last few updates of the year.
