About This Video

In this video I’m basically solving my biggest travel problem: I’ve got way too many devices to charge, and I don’t want to bring a separate brick for everything. Between my laptop, iPad, phone, gaming handheld, and even smaller stuff like an Apple Watch, it’s super convenient that most of my gear is USB-C now—but you still need a charger that can actually keep up when you’re charging multiple things at once. I tested the MFish-E Rhino 140W GaN charger and compared it to my current “100W” charger. The main takeaway is that this GaN brick is noticeably more compact while still pushing up to 140W total. The ports have different max ratings, and if you plug in multiple devices the power gets split, but even then it can do 65W + 65W across two devices, which is plenty for stuff like my ROG Ally X and an iPad at the same time. Build quality is also a highlight—there’s a cool metal plate on the front and the whole design feels really thoughtfully done. I also checked out MFish’s “Armored Dragon” 240W cable with swappable tips (USB-C, USB-A, and Lightning). Most people won’t need 240W, but it’s nice knowing the cable won’t be the bottleneck—especially if you’re charging higher-wattage USB-C laptops.
