The beast has arrived! Today we’re running the world’s first benchmarks on the OneXPlayer Super X, the insane new gaming tablet powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (Strix Halo). With a massive 120W TDP and the Radeon 8060S GPU, we're testing if this liquid-cooled monster can actually replace a gaming laptop. We put it to the test in AAA titles at 2.8K resolution to see if the Strix Halo hype is real. #onexplayer #SuperX #GamingTablet

About This Video

In this video I’m running some of the first real benchmarks I’ve seen on the OneXPlayer Super X, a crazy powerful gaming tablet/laptop hybrid built around the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (Strix Halo). I tried it at CES, but here I’m actually putting numbers on it—starting with Cyberpunk and seeing what this thing can do on its native high-res OLED panel. The big selling point is you’re getting full Windows 11 on x86, so compatibility is basically a non-issue compared to a lot of ARM-based tablets. I tested different settings and power profiles and, yeah, I messed up my first run (keyboard clicks shifted settings), but once I dialed it in, the results made more sense. At the Super X’s 2880x1800 resolution, Ultra was too ambitious (I was seeing around mid-20 FPS), but the Steam Deck preset landed in the “actually playable” zone—roughly low-to-mid 40s FPS with peaks close to 60. My main takeaway: the OLED screen is a huge part of why this device stands out, but you still need to be realistic with settings at 2.8K if you want smooth gameplay.
