I queued up at Diamond 1 and basically needed one more win, so I just played it out and closed the push. It didn’t feel that hard because I won most of my games, but I definitely play worse on stream when I’m distracted. Once I got the win, I hit Legend around rank 5,481.

I upgraded my list by adding two key things: Crafter’s Aura (for the summon/tempo swing) and Zilliax because it’s honestly OP. Before that I was running a more troll-ish option (Avatar), and Zilliax was just the cleaner craft. Those were basically the only changes from rank five to Legend.

Is getting Legend easier nowadays in Hearthstone?

I literally asked that on stream because the climb felt pretty straightforward this time. That said, your rank number can still be low even after you hit Legend, and climbing higher would take a ton of wins. So “easier” to enter Legend maybe, but not necessarily easier to get a high Legend rank.

Because I’m distracted—chat, talking, thinking about other stuff—so I don’t focus the same way. Off stream I’m more locked in and my decision-making is cleaner. On stream you’ll see me call out misplays and get annoyed when I can’t attack for forever.

If you don’t like stuff stuck in your ear, IEMs are just never going to be it. Comfort depends a lot on shell size and tips—some are huge, some are lighter and plasticky but easy to wear. For long gaming sessions I also prefer headphones because soundstage is better, and most IEM cable mics sound terrible compared to a real mic in front of you.

For cheap/budget, I mentioned an EPZ set on my desk that’s really good and I’m probably using it for a budget video soon. Around the ~$150 range, I said the Simgot SM4 is one of my favorites. I’ve got way too much stuff on my table, so it’s always rotating.

What gaming headset and mouse is Ryan using in this video?

For the headset, I’m using the Audeze Maxwell (first version, not the second). For mice, I’m on the Razer Viper V3 Pro and I also rotate in the RAWM ES21 Pro. I basically swap between them when one dies so I don’t have to constantly charge.
