In this video I’m unboxing and testing one of the weirdest “tech” items I’ve been handed in a while—at CES Pepcom I got a Star Music lollipop that literally plays music while you’re eating it. I’d never seen anything like this before, so I walk through what’s on the packaging, how it’s supposed to work (press the button for 3 seconds to turn on, single-click to pause/play, double-click to stop), and what you actually get in the box—including the ear plugs/earbuds it tells you to use. I test it both ways: without the earbuds and then with them. Without the earbuds I could hear the music, but it was very low and kind of depended on which side I had the lollipop on. With the earbuds in, it was definitely much louder, and you can also feel the vibration from the bone conduction tech. The flavor on the package is “Ice Spice Peach Pink Frost” (I don’t even know who Ice Spice is, but okay), and it claims up to 60 minutes of built-in music and zero sugar. I wrap up by asking the big question—would you actually buy something like this?
