In this video I finally got my hands on the SOUNDPEATS Clip 1 clip-on wireless earbuds, and I walk you through the unboxing, pairing, and what they’re like in real use. Right on the box you’re getting some premium specs like Bluetooth 5.4, up to 8 hours on the buds (40 hours with the case), USB-C charging, and features like LDAC, Dolby Audio, and a 12mm dual magnetic driver. I also show you the little things people forget—like checking under the packaging for the USB-C cable and the paperwork. Once I connected them to my phone, pairing was super fast, and I tested the “self-adaptive” left/right behavior by intentionally putting one in the wrong way. It actually matters how you wear it, but once it’s on correctly it reacts right away and the ear detection works as expected. I demo the touch controls too—double tap for play/pause (it’s hyper sensitive, even picking up taps near the ear), and triple tap to skip tracks. Then I jump into the SOUNDPEATS app, run the firmware update (it was quick), and show the settings: Dolby modes (music/movie), EQ presets and custom EQ, dual-device connection, LDAC toggle (with trade-offs), game mode, find-my-earbuds, and even a drainage function. Overall, they sounded super clear and clean to me, and the app is packed with features.
