In this video I’m teaming up with iGarden to show you a pool accessory a lot of people don’t even know exists: the SwimJet X Series that creates a strong current in your swimming pool. I’m testing the iGarden X35P60 (they also have the X30P30 and the X20 P10), and I walk you through how to set it up—adjusting the height so the water hits right at the level you want, rolling it into place with the built-in wheels, and plugging it in using the sealed, rubberized waterproof ports. I also break down the controls: you’ve got a power button up top and pressure levels (I tried all four), plus an app so you can turn it on/off and set the pressure from your phone. I compare two battery options too—one with a screen and timer button versus a simpler one with a light bar—and explain the big difference in runtime: about 1.5 hours vs 45 minutes on max, or 10 hours vs 5 hours on lighter settings. Then I invited friends over to really test it, and I’ll be honest—this thing is a crazy aquatic cardio workout. The current is no joke (up to about 1,100 gallons per minute), and it’s great whether you want calm family play or a legit swim workout.
