In this video I’m checking out the Turtle Beach Super Mario Rematch wireless controller for Nintendo Switch 2. Turtle Beach has been putting out some pretty amazing stuff lately, and I actually use a lot of their gear, so I wanted to see what’s new with this one. The big “wow” feature is the lenticular tilt-to-reveal design—when you move the controller, you can see Mario shifting around in the center. It’s one of those little details that just makes the controller feel fun and premium. I unbox it, point out the USB-C charging, show you the sync button, and walk through pairing it on the Switch (Grips/Change Grip/Order, hit the connect button, then confirm with A). I also talk about the current limitations: it works with Switch 2, but the C button isn’t available, and for whatever reason you can’t wake the Switch by pressing Home—something I’m seeing across a lot of controllers right now, even the Pro controller. After testing in-game, my main takeaway is that it feels super comfortable, the build feels very premium, and it’s been very responsive for me with no lag.
