In this video I’m checking out the EAI SmartCloud AI Voice Recorder (AM 02 NA) and showing you how the whole “never take notes again” idea actually works. I unbox it, go over what’s in the box (USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, the manual, and the little ring accessory), and then I walk you through the E AI SmartCloud app setup. The device is ultra light—almost too light at first—but that also means it won’t add a bunch of weight when it’s on your phone. It does have a magnetic attachment, which I like because it just snaps on and you’re good. I also show the pairing process and I’ll be honest: scanning the code on the back was annoying and the Bluetooth pairing took some angling to get it to connect. Once it’s connected though, recording is simple—hold the button for about two seconds and the blue light tells you you’re recording. The big takeaway is the app features like summary/transcribe/translate, which is the whole point for meetings and notes. Just remember to ask for consent if you’re recording other people, because privacy laws are a real thing.
