In this video I’m testing out the Magabox Elite X2 (32GB storage / 4GB RAM) to see if it’s actually any good and worth messing with. I walk through the ports and what you get in the box: SD card slot, three USB ports (one 2.0 and two 3.0), optical, ethernet, HDMI, power, plus an antenna port for better signal. You also get an HDMI cable and their remote, and I’ll be real with you—the remote has a ton of buttons, but you do have to point it directly at the box or it won’t respond. I also break down the home screen so people don’t get confused: the Live TV and VOD sections are basically placeholders where you add your own apps/shortcuts. Then I jump into AIDA64 so you can see the real specs and what’s going on under the hood. It’s running Android 12 (API 31), it’s rooted, and it’s using an Allwinner chipset (H313/H616 family) with a quad-core Cortex-A53 and Mali-G31. Storage is advertised at 32GB, but after system apps you’ve got about 23GB available. Overall, it’s been working pretty good for me—good memory, good storage, and a pretty powerful little device if you set it up right.
