In this video I’m checking out the Studios FL2, and the big question is basically: is it any good compared to the AirFly? My quick take is it’s very similar to AirFly, but it feels more budget and it’s probably a little cheaper. The AirFly is more expensive, and you can feel that premium build, but the FL2 still does the job and keeps things super simple. What I really like is how small it is and how easy it is to use. You’ve got a main button like the other transmitters, USB-C charging, and Bluetooth. The cool part is the dual plug option—some airplane seats need two plugs, and if you don’t need both you can just hide one and use a single plug. I walk through how to connect it to earbuds (not your phone), including the important step of turning off your phone Bluetooth if your earbuds are already paired there. If it doesn’t connect right away, there’s a sync button on the back, and you can also put it into pairing mode to connect another set. Overall, this was honestly one of the easier little gadgets I’ve used for this kind of setup.
