In this video I’m showing you how I use the AirFly mouse remote with basically any streaming device, and why I think it’s a really solid upgrade over a lot of stock remotes. You get a USB dongle (just plug it into USB and you’re good) and the remote charges over USB‑C, which I love. I demo it on the Stream Xbox so you can see the real-world response, and honestly the responsiveness on this thing is just amazing when you’re jumping through apps like YouTube and navigating around. I also break down the buttons so you don’t have to guess: the back button works like normal, and if you hold it, it takes you straight home (super convenient). I’ll be real though—my one “meh” area is the volume control. On my setup it felt a little weird/finicky with short press vs long press, so I personally just use my TV volume instead. The flip-side keyboard is clutch for typing, and I show you how it works (including a small quirk where enter can act odd depending on what’s highlighted on the on-screen keyboard). Finally, I show the air mouse mode, how fast it is, and how you can change the mouse speed using the V and OK buttons.
