In this video I’m testing Tile inside the Life360 app to see if it really works like an AirTag-style tracker for keeping up with your stuff—especially luggage when I travel. I show you what the setup looks like in Life360, how you add an item by pressing the Tile button, and how you can name it (like I did with “black smart luggage”), add a photo, and use features like e-labeling and factory reset. I also demo the “ring” sound so you can find it nearby. The big takeaway is the update speed and the way Tile’s location updates work. My Samsung SmartTag updates crazy fast and feels close to real-time when I hit refresh. With Tile/Life360, the tracker location only updates when it was last with you or when someone in the Tile network anonymously detects it, so it can feel laggy and not truly real-time. For me, it worked well in the States, but once I traveled internationally it was basically a no-go—so if you need reliable international tracking, I’d look at other AirTag-style options that update faster and more consistently.
