For the last two-plus years I’ve been running Rogue Hobbies (and my whole little business) out of what was basically the back of a cupboard—cozy, yes, but also very “Harry Potter under the stairs” if we’re being super real. So in this video I’m officially announcing that I’ve moved… which sounds dramatic, but actually I’ve just gone downstairs in the same building. The new HQ started life as a proper dumping-ground storage cupboard, complete with spooky haunted-toe-eating-ghost vibes, and we decided to do a full-on extreme makeover and turn it into Rogue Studio 2.0. I walk you through the before, the plan, and the build—mostly Nathan (builder legend) doing the hard work while I contribute vital services like delivering strong cups of tea. I kept my dark blue walls because change is scary, and I designed the setup with my past studio design work in mind (Citadel Masterclass, Battle Report, Warhammer TV), but obviously made it a bit cooler. The big hero piece is a massive Rogue Hobbies logo sign stuffed with colourful Gundam sprews (yes, my “out of control” Gundam addiction finally paid off), put together by Tom who absolutely popped off. Then it’s moving day, a bunch of sentimental hobby chaos, and the full reveal—more space to paint, better lighting, and a fresh era for the channel.
