About This Video

If you’re on this weird side of the internet because you want to get better at painting these tiny, borderline addictive little suckers—same. In this video I go through a bunch of miniature painting accounts I genuinely think will make you a better Warhammer painter, faster, simply by filling your feeds with the right inspiration. When you’re new, it’s intimidating: you don’t even know what style you like yet, let alone how to get there. Following great painters helped me massively back then, and it still helps me now. I shout out a mix of styles and goals, from ultra-clean ‘Eavy Metal box art perfection (Infernal Brush, and a nod to the Warhammer TV team) to higher-end challenge-driven painting via Lukas on Squidmar, to wildly expressive colour wizardry from Craftworld Studio. I also cover the “I have one hour before game night” crowd with Peachy’s fast, efficient army painting approach, and the “did you sell your soul?” smoothness of Flameon. Then I branch into other systems and terrain with Sorastro, conversions and green stuff brilliance with Valbjorn, and pure ’90s Oldhammer vibes with Goblin Green. I wrap up with a stack of honourable mentions so you can go forth and aggressively broaden your hobby horizons.
