Epic has always been one of my favourite scales of miniatures to paint! With the recent release of Legions Imperialis from Games Workshop I thought I'd challenge myself to painting 7 of my favourite space marine legions, in as much detail as I physically can but SUPER TINY! And in this video I share some tips and tricks as to how I did it so you can start your EPIC mini adventure yourself or push your painting skills into even smaller details! _______ For business enquiries please contact me at roguehobbies1@gmail.com Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/roguehobbies Merch and miniatures! - https://roguehobbies.com/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@roguehobbies

About This Video

Warhammer minis are small… sure. But in this video I decided to be an absolute menace and pro-paint the worlds smallest Warhammer miniatures in Epic scale, thanks to the release of Legions Imperialis. I picked seven of my favourite Space Marine legions and tried to cram in as much detail as my weak human eyes would allow—because apparently I enjoy suffering. Along the way I also cover the big “why” behind Epic: it’s tiny, it’s fast, it’s affordable, and if you squint hard enough you can finally “own” that Titan you’ve always wanted. I break down my practical tips for painting at this ridiculous scale: careful prep so you don’t lop off limbs, priming properly (yes, I still hate priming) by warming the can and spraying in tiny passes, and how I use brushes—including my very cursed worn-down detail brush. I also talk paint consistency (thin for basecoats, slightly thicker for edge highlights so it doesn’t spider everywhere), how I steady my hands with elbows-and-hands bracing, and how I push contrast so the minis read from across the table. Finally, I show how I use my phone camera to “zoom-check” details, and I remind you to know when to stop before you paint the details into a blob.
