If you're a fan of Warhammer, miniature painting or Virtual Reality, then settle in and watch the crossover begin... I love VR and recently I downloaded the game DEMEO where you can paint a miniature... but in VR! Join me as I explore and experiment and generally have THE BEST TIME EVER with the fascinating combination of these two worlds! And see the (maybe questionable) results for yourself.... This is definitely felt like a one-of-a-kind experience that I think you won't want to miss!! Also its my first time trying out the more 'gaming' side of my interests on this channel so let me know what you think in the comments :D _______ The song used in the intro/outro of this video is my own track 'Flight of the Starship Seraphim 9' which you can listen to here: https://rogueradio.bandcamp.com/track/the-flight-of-starship-seraphim-9 _______ For business enquiries please contact me at roguehobbies1@gmail.com Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/roguehobbies Merch and miniatures! - https://roguehobbies.com/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@roguehobbies

About This Video

Hello everyone and welcome to a very different episode of Rogue Hobbies—because this time I’ve gone fully virtual, and it is very, very strange. I grabbed a Meta Quest headset, jumped into Demeo (Demio? honestly, who knows), and instead of bopping skeletons on the head I headed straight to the Heroes Hangout painting room to see if I could paint the world’s best miniature entirely in VR. Spoiler: it felt weird. Like, "my hands are disjointed and I have no crotch" weird. But also… kind of magical. I mess about with the tools first—palette, brushes, airbrush, thinner, the whole lot—then pick a little goblin dude and paint him like I’d paint any goblin in real life: basecoats, face focus, highlights, hair strokes, and some extremely questionable attempts to rest my hand on a table that isn’t actually there. I even get brave and try non-metallic gold (and it’s annoyingly not terrible), then push it further with a little gem effect. To finish, I slap on some basic highlights, paint his “little dungies,” and add paint splatters so he looks like a tiny painter goblin, which is frankly too cute. It’s hobby chaos, but I’m weirdly proud of him—and I want to know if you lot want more VR painting experiments.
