About This Video

In this video I show you exactly how to turn Dark Mode on or off in Windows 11—quick and no fluff. I jump straight to the desktop, open Settings by right-clicking the Start icon on the taskbar, then head to Personalization on the left. From there it’s Colors in the center pane, and you use the “Choose your mode” dropdown to switch between Light and Dark. That’s the core switch, and it takes about a minute once you know where Microsoft hid it. I also show you the extra step a lot of people miss: changing your actual Theme. After you flip the mode, I go back to Personalization and click Themes so you can pick something like “Windows dark” for a more complete dark look. If you don’t see what you want, you can browse for more themes right from that page. Do it once, set it how you like, and get back to work.
