About This Video

In this video I show you how to take screenshots right inside the Microsoft Edge web browser on a Windows PC—no extensions, no extra apps, no fluff. Edge has a built-in tool called Web Capture, and I walk through three different ways to open it depending on how you like to work: the keyboard shortcut, the 3-dot menu, and a toolbar button you can enable if you take screenshots a lot. Once Web Capture is open, I break down the three capture options: Capture area (drag to grab exactly what you want), Capture screen area (what you can currently see), and Capture full page (perfect for long pages you can’t fit on one screen). After you grab a screenshot, I show you the quick actions like copy, save, and markup. I also demo Markup Capture so you can draw on the image, change ink color and thickness, erase mistakes, and then save the final screenshot straight to your Downloads folder.
