In this vlog, I’m at Victory Auto (newly opened Royal Enfield showroom, Howrah) and I’m doing a proper specs breakdown of the new Interceptor Bear 650, plus a straight comparison with the Himalayan 450. This is not the ride video yet—ride test on city, highway and a small off-road patch is coming soon—but with specs itself you can still understand which bike is made for what kind of riding. I also shared the current waiting period info you should know before booking. I covered the 4-inch TFT (same style as Himalayan 450), navigation (but not Google casting), switchable ABS, and the fact that Bear 650 has no riding modes like the Himalayan. Engine-wise it’s a 648cc parallel twin with SOHC, 2-into-1 exhaust, around 216 kg weight, 13.7L tank and company claim of ~300 km range. Then I compared the real adventure points: suspension travel (Himalayan 200mm vs Bear 130/115 with twin shocks), wheel setup (Himalayan 21-inch front vs Bear 19-inch), and ground clearance (Himalayan ~230mm vs Bear ~184mm). My takeaway: Bear 650 brings raw torque low in the revs, but for proper adventure touring and off-road focus, Himalayan 450 still feels like the stronger package.
