So I’m back as the talking head walking you through what happened, what went wrong, and how to avoid the same headaches. Big takeaway: the anchors Samsung includes with the mount are trash (yep, I said it). They failed on me, and that’s the kind of failure you don’t want when you’re hanging a TV. I show you what I used instead—#12 self-drilling drywall anchors—and why they bite better and don’t strip out as easily. I also own my mistake: I started positioning without thinking about the right-justified box setup, so I had to patch holes and re-center the TV so it looks right in the room. I also cover a couple practical nuggets: install the TV’s hanging screws by hand (don’t cross-thread them), don’t squeeze the Frame TV panel when lifting, and if you’re adding the bezel, snap the black pieces on before it’s on the wall because you won’t have finger room once it’s tight to the mount.
