About This Video

What’s going on guys—EBF here, Mr. RemoteLife. In this video I’m installing a NEW model gold fandelier, and yeah… we’re going for the shiny, luxe look with the crystal balls and that LED ring. I already unboxed it and I’ll say it straight: this one was packaged way better than the first fandelier I did on the channel. Blades were individually sleeved, crystals were protected, and overall it was just cleaner to work with. The paper instructions are still kinda silly, but they did get a little better—either way, these videos are what you want to follow. I walk you through the full install from wiring to final bling. I had to scrape paint off my leads (bozo painter painted my wires—he got fired), and I show you how I organize the cables so the canopy goes up clean. I also cover the LED ring headache: magnets only go one way, and if your ring won’t stick, you might be missing magnets—CA glue fixes that quick. After that, I configure the remote, test the light modes, and get the fan spinning (no wobble, but yes, it beeps and you can’t disable it). Finally, I clean the inside so you’re not staring at dingy bling, replace a loose crystal hanger, and hang the crystals tighter so your cleaning rag doesn’t snag later. I even show my dry erase sheet trick to wipe ceiling marks without scrubbing flat paint. End result? She shining—and I’m turning that fan back on because it’s hot.
