About This Video

In this Vlogmas Day 22 “plan with me,” I’m prepping my small business for the new year in the most casual, low-stress way possible—because if I take planning too seriously, I overthink, get overwhelmed, and then suddenly it’s February. I set a 1.5 hour cutoff and spend the time brainstorming my 2026 themes while also doing real behind-the-scenes work: unboxing new inventory from my seist Alex, organizing my fabric stash, and setting up candle supplies so I can pour tomorrow. For 2026, my biggest focus is expanding my product catalog (without abandoning the tried-and-true). Book sleeves are officially staying, and I want to explore more colorways, sizes, and even Kindle sleeves. I also walk through how I decide what to launch: I’m not trying to invent something brand new, but I’m also not copying what everyone else makes—I’m tweaking familiar products to fit my niche as “the most aesthetically sustainable option for the home bodies,” using deadstock/thrifted/secondhand supplies. I also sort fabrics into business vs personal (and donation) piles, talk scrunchies as a lower-priced “support my shop” option, and share a 2026 goal I’m excited (and nervous) about: upgrading packaging to make the brand feel more professional online, at markets, and eventually for wholesale/consignment. Plus, I explain why renaming a candle scent can impact online sales—even when the label looks the same.
