About This Video

It is officially spring cleaning season, and I decided to do a full house deep clean + declutter as a small business owner in my third trimester—because I can literally feel nesting kicking in and I know I’m going to hit a wall soon. This was my first time doing a true whole-house reset since moving from an apartment (Hoboken) into this house in New Jersey, so I broke it into phases: the office/nursery, my closet, my small business studio, and then “everything else.” I start by getting honest about what’s actually working for my life right now—especially with pregnancy and postpartum in mind—so I’m making keep/donate/storage piles and flipping my wardrobe for spring in a way that’s more sustainable and budget-friendly. Then we get into the real satisfying stuff: deep-cleaning the kitchen (under the dish rack, the toaster glow up, all the little spots I ignore in nightly cleans), wiping baseboards and windowsills, and resetting spaces so they feel cozy again. In my studio, the focus is decluttering without being wasteful—I even found a stash of “oopsie” candles and decided to post them as imperfects instead of tossing them. The biggest takeaway is that a spring reset isn’t about perfection; it’s about doing what you can, clearing out what’s been neglected, and making your home (and work space) feel easier to live in.
