You know those videos where someone opens with, “I’ve been on the verge of tears all morning”… and you click off? Yeah. That was literally me. In this Vlogmas Day 23 “30 before 30” vlog, I’m honest about having one of those stressy, overwhelmed days—finances, holiday pressure, and that small biz voice in my head that’s like “you should’ve had this done months ago.” I run errands, grab a matcha (because I know myself), and try to do the annoying, overdue stuff that actually lifts a weight once it’s finally handled. Then it’s gift-wrapping chaos: thrifted gifts, leftover wrapping paper, thrifted ribbon, and me fully admitting wrapping is not my strength (my strengths include building businesses, not wrapping Christmas gifts). I share a few cozy little moments—Trader Joe’s flowers for hosting Christmas Eve, a fun brand mailer surprise, and wrapping gifts for my family, Josh, my sister, and even Kota. The big takeaway is something I’m learning as I’m about to turn 30: done is better than perfect. I don’t believe in giving 110% all the time anymore—save your “best” for when it matters, and let the rest be a solid C+ that still gets done.
