About This Video

I just spent a month living in Paris working on Corona’s Olympics campaign—mainly interviewing top-performing athletes and turning those conversations into branded content that had to be approved and posted fast. In this video, I walk you through what that actually looks like from the inside: how I got the job (yes, through an Instagram DM), what my tasks were, and how I approached storytelling when you only have a tiny window—about 20 minutes per interview—to pull a 60–90 second piece that still feels human. The biggest filmmaking lesson is that interviews don’t work if you “wing it.” I’m obsessive about research, then I break the ice for five minutes before the camera rolls so the athlete feels like they’re talking to a person who actually cares. From there, I go deeper than the “what” and “why” and ask them to walk me through a moment inside their body and mind—what they felt, heard, saw. And because this is branded documentary work, I also explain how I treat the brand like a character: I learn what Corona stands for (outdoors, nature, golden light, reconnecting) and integrate it authentically through questions like “what’s your golden moment in nature?” My final advice: go shoot, don’t overcomplicate it, and keep putting work out—experience is the real cheat code.
