Welcome back to Week 2 of my Tale of a Frog “Not so Granny–Granny Square” CAL! In this update, I’m sharing what’s going on with the CAL running May 1 through June 1, 2017, and I’m also making a big giveaway announcement to celebrate a milestone that still makes me smile—2000+ subscribers (and yes, I’m truly grateful). I talk about how much it means to have friends watching from my hometown and home state, all across the USA, the UK, and even places like Australia, Belgium, and the Cypress Islands—thank you for being here and making this little cozy craft corner possible. This CAL is my fun way of celebrating turning 50 in May 2017, and I chose “not so granny” squares because they’re classic-but-different—perfect for playing with texture, shape, and personality. I also share the designers and patterns I’m featuring/mentioning (all copyright to their original creators), and I’m very clear that I’m not affiliated with any yarn companies, stores, or designers—I buy my own supplies.
