About This Video

In this video I’m announcing the winners for my Three Tail Dragonfly Square CMAL 2019, and I’m still smiling at how much magic this little square brings out in our community. Dragonflies have always felt mystical to me—ever since I was a kid and loved the idea that following one could lead you right to where the fairies live—so it’s only fitting that this CMAL is all about letting the dragonfly “lead” your creativity somewhere cozy and wonderful. I also recap what the CMAL was all about: crocheting one (or more) Three Tail Dragonfly Squares and then actually making something with them. Over the past two years I’ve been amazed by the variety—trivets and potholders, coasters, blankets from baby to adult sized, purses, scarves, shrugs, tops, and more. I share where to find the Ravelry group, the two threads (chatter vs. finished objects only), and the key dates for entries and announcements. Most of all, I want this to feel like a celebration and a big thank-you to my generous fiber friends who donated prizes and to everyone who chatted, posted, and shared their makes.
