In this Pine Notes make-a-long, I’m inviting you into the magic of my Three Tail Dragonfly Square Crochet Make A Long (CMAL) celebrating the 2-year anniversary of the pattern. Dragonflies have always felt a little mystical to me—when I was a kid, my favorite fable was that if you follow a dragonfly, it will lead you to where the fairies live. So I thought… with these little Three Tail Dragonfly Squares, where will your making lead you? I share how the CMAL runs (July 1st through August 4th, 2019), where to join on Ravelry, and how easy the “rules” are: crochet square(s) and make something with them—that’s it. I’ve been amazed over the past two years seeing what everyone creates, from trivets and potholders to purses, coasters, scarves, shrugs, tops, and blankets in every size.
