In this July 28, 2019 update, I’m popping in to keep our Three Tail Dragonfly Square CMAL moving along and to share a little community love. This Crochet Make A Long is celebrating the 2-year anniversary of my magical little Three Tail Dragonfly Square, and I’m still amazed by all the creative ways you’ve all used the square—everything from trivets and potholders to purses, coasters, scarves, and blankets in all sizes. Dragonflies have always felt a bit mystical to me (my favorite childhood fable was that if you follow a dragonfly, it will lead you to where the fairies live), so it makes me smile to see where these dragonfly squares “lead” your projects. And yes—because summer flew by, I extended the CMAL deadline to September 5th, 2019 so we can keep the fun going a little longer! You can join with new projects or WIPs as long as they’re just started, and double-dipping in other CALs is totally fine. I also want to say a huge thank you to the generous donations from my fiber friends—this CMAL truly wouldn’t be the same without the kindness and talent in our crochet community. Grab the free pattern and tutorial on my website, make your squares, turn them into something wonderful, and then enter in whichever way works best for you.
