In this video I’m checking out Voidless, an AI game development suite built specifically for developers, and I focus on the feature that honestly matters most for a lot of 2D projects: AI animated sprite generation. I start from their landing page, log in, and generate a character from a simple prompt (I went with a zombie). Then I jump into editing the asset, generate rotations (because you need that initial frame/angle coverage), and use their templates to create a clean walking animation. The result looks very, very cool, and you can download everything as a ZIP with an image sequence. Then I show the workflow that makes this tool feel unique: adding new elements to a sprite and animating them. I generate an item (like a gun), use “add combine image,” and build animations like walking while holding a weapon or a shooting state. After that, I bring the frames into a real Godot project using AnimatedSprite2D: create animations (idle, walk, etc.), drag-and-drop frames, adjust FPS (I’m usually around 20 for snappy player anims, 10–15 for enemies), and trim frames when needed (like removing weapon frames for a clean idle). I also show a simple trick to create an air/jump state from a single good frame, and I demo smooth AI transitions like going from shooting to pulling out a grenade, then walking with the grenade—perfect for chaining states in an actual game.
