About This Video

In this video I show you a small Godot game I made, but the real focus is how I generated the 3D models you’re seeing (a monkey character and a banana) even though I’m not a professional 3D artist. I’m using SupaVoxel, which turns a simple image into a ready-to-use 3D model in under 30 seconds, with an optimized polygon count and multiple export formats. What I like is that you can generate either just the geometry or a full textured model, and if the first result isn’t perfect you can simply regenerate and pick the best version from your attempts. Then I bring everything into Godot using GLB so textures come in cleanly and the workflow stays fast: drag-and-drop import, set up a simple player scene, a rotating banana pickup with collision, and a main scene that handles spawning, UI, and a timed level system. Finally, I cover the Mixamo-compatible pipeline: export the character as OBJ, rig it in Mixamo (make sure your reference image is in a T-pose), download your animations, and merge them into a single GLB using the Character Animation Combiner. After that, I fix materials in Godot and swap animations (walk vs idle) based on movement—simple, practical, and production-friendly.
