In this video I review the Womier RD75 Pro, the 75% board that made some noise during its Kickstarter, and I break down what you’re actually getting for around €160. I go through the unboxing, the clean rounded case design, the crushed stainless steel weight, and the hidden dongle compartment (which I genuinely found super useful). I also talk about the keycaps on my powdercoated beige version—slightly textured, doesn’t show fingerprints, and depending on the lighting you even get that sparkly effect that looks pretty sick. The big highlight is the ball-catch quick disassembly. If you like modding and swapping configs, taking this board apart in seconds is a huge plus. I cover the wireless side too: 2.4GHz, an 8,000 mAh battery, and I’ve been getting around 20 days without charging, so the advertised long battery life could actually be realistic. For typing feel, the factory-lubed linear switches are smooth and sound good, and even though the stabilizers are plate-mounted (usually not my favorite), they’re lubed well enough to feel solid. I also show the two gasket setups and how fast it is to swap thanks to the magnetic daughterboard—then I wrap with software (VIA), the downsides, and a full sound test.
