I just reviewed the Neo65 Sonic HE+ and yeah… for $115, this thing is kind of ridiculous. After I dropped my Hex80 review and called it the best Hall Effect keyboard, a bunch of you asked for a 60/65% version—and Qwertykeys basically answered with this budget-line Neo board. It’s a clean, minimal case (same design lineage as the OG Neo65), comes in a legit carrying case with good accessories, and the overall build quality is way above what I expect at this price. No case ping, beautiful anodizing, and thank you—centered USB-C. In the video I break down the stock experience (caps, plate, switches), then I open it up and mess with configs. The new OLAP Nova switches feel more gaming/budget focused—snappy rebound, solid RGB diffusion—but there’s noticeable stem wobble, and the stock caps don’t help the sound. Software-wise, NeoFlux is web-based and super clean, with adjustable actuation, rapid trigger, DKS, MOTAP, and multiple profiles. In-game, I couldn’t feel a difference versus higher-end HE boards like the Hex80, Venom60, or ADHE. If you want a 65% Hall Effect board on a budget, this is my no-brainer pick right now.
