ATK handled the internals, Qwertykeys built the case, and Owlab supplied the switches… so yeah, expectations were high. But did the Hex80 actually deliver? And the big question everyone asks: is it better than Wooting? About This Video

Yo, what is going on guys? In this video I’m testing the Qwertykeys x ATK Gear Hex80 — a TKL hall effect board that’s basically trying to mash the sound and feel of a custom keyboard with the speed and control of a top-end gaming board. I’ve been using it for both work and games, and I’ll be real: I think this is the best keyboard you can currently buy. I go over the full build — CNC milled aluminum case (about 1.7kg), the clean machining Qwertykeys is known for, the TKL layout for productivity without killing mouse space, and the little details like the orange accents, mirror weight, and the hardware buttons for RGB/logo light/profile switching. I also break down what’s inside: gasket mount, carbon fiber plate, and a full foam stack, which keeps the feel cushioned but not overly bouncy while staying consistent across the board. The Owlab TIS switches are pre-lubed, smooth and stable, with a clean marbly sound (though I do think the stock frosted caps muffle them a bit). Then I jump into ATK Hub software: actuation tuning from 0.1mm to 3.3mm, Rapid Trigger down to 0.01mm reset, presets (I stuck with the Spring one for Valorant), and the overall performance feel in Valorant and CS. The movement start/stop is instant, counter-strafes feel super crisp, and Rapid Trigger felt consistent and snappy — to the point it became my favorite board to play on.
