About This Video

Yo what’s good — in this video I tested five mousepads from a newer brand called KingJade, and each one is named after figures from Chinese mythology (apologies in advance for my pronunciation). I put time on the Zurong, Zulong, Xoan, Fuoie, and Leoi, and I’ll be real: two of them felt straight-up muddy for my style, while the top end of this lineup genuinely surprised me. I’m mainly a glass pad enthusiast, so I’m picky about static friction, micro-adjustments, and whether a pad feels restrictive when you’re trying to aim. Across the board, the build is solid: they arrive flat and double packaged, all my units were XL (490 x 500 x 4mm), with a soft base that rebounds quick and sticks to the desk. Stitching is recessed and tight, though my Zulong had a bit of uneven stitching, and the logo protrudes slightly which you can notice under the mouse. Surface-wise, the Zurong and Zulong leaned too control/muddy for me, the Xoan hit a clean balanced feel (kinda like a smoother Wallhack MO), the Fuoie became my recommended control pick, and the Leoi is the standout — a cloth pad with a glass-infused surface that gives me that air-hockey glide with dot skates. The Leoi is so good it’s in my all-time favorites and it’s now in my main rotation for days when my aim feels shaky.
