About This Video

This week in the BrickLink store I’m back behind the scenes in Wellington, grinding away at the upload mission and pushing hard towards that 100,000 parts milestone. We start off with a bulk tub drop-off (big thanks to Denny) and I’m working through tiles, damaged bits for the bulk tubs, and a couple of part-outs (including set 10342 and the tuxedo cat). I’m also juggling the usual reality of running a small LEGO reselling room: orders to pick, pack, and post… and absolutely no space left to actually put the new inventory. I also share a couple of little “systems” that are helping us right now—like my 5-year-old’s genius glow-in-the-dark check (turn the lights off and you’ll spot parts you’d otherwise price as plain white), plus my daily admin checklist idea so I stop forgetting the boring-but-important stuff. Midweek we unbox a nice little haul of polybags and minifigs, then I cave and buy more organisers because space is officially at a premium. To finish the week, we hit a yard sale early and take a punt on 17kg of bulk for $400—baseplates, some fakes (it happens), but also some genuinely spicy finds like a Palpatine head, good Star Wars/minifig parts, and plenty to sort into the store. Uploads drive orders, and this week was a good reminder of that.
