This week’s LEGO selling vlog is where the BrickLink Wars officially kick off — because Dad’s Brick Army has finally launched his BrickLink store. We checked out his setup (sets ready to part out, minifig organisation, a four-digit location system, even a picking trolley) and I couldn’t resist a little “good son” sabotage with the label maker. We also did a road trip for a haul that is absolutely stacked with value, especially minifigures — keen eyes will spot Lord of the Rings and Star Wars gold in there. Back in Wellington, it was the usual grind: picking big orders, sorting used bulk, and trying to keep the “death pile” under control while we’re seriously space poor. I worked through a massive dark bluish gray order (112 lots / 1,100+ items), built BrickStore files from tubs, and watched uploads start selling almost immediately — including a $300+ order loaded with minifigs and parts we’d only just listed. I also ran through a real beginner BrickLink problem (missing parts on a first order) and how I solve it fast using BrickLink’s part/set info to find a “cheat set” in the backlog. Orders were flying in, we pushed up around 65,000 parts, and the week ended with more banger minifig orders heading out the door.
