About This Video

This week in the vlog I took our minifigure stock to a market for the first time and, honestly, it was a bit of an interesting one. It was a really quiet day (two massive festivals nearby plus a kids day at the park), so foot traffic was low, but we still came away pretty happy. We paid $20 for the stall, sold around $50–$60 worth of minifigs plus a couple of sets, and finished the day at $165 total. The biggest win wasn’t even the cash—it was meeting a mate who works for a shipping company, which could turn into discounted shipping for us going forward (priceless, if that comes off). If I did it again, I’d bring some LEGO to sort during the quiet moments instead of just sitting there. Back in the store, it was the usual BrickLink reality: updating stock after the market (I chuck everything into the BrickLink stockroom so we don’t accidentally sell it online), uploading used bulk through BrickStore, and fighting the vicious cycle of storage space. I also caught a classic mistake—over 1,000 parts were sitting in the BrickLink stockroom, which explained why my BrickStore numbers didn’t match. We also scored a $50 Marketplace bulk tub (nearly-new condition) and wrapped the vlog with our February recap: 52 sales, 3,666 items, $1,767.76 income, plus a massive highlight—selling a Qui-Gon Jinn for $350 at the right time.
