Well hey team — this week’s vlog was honestly a bit of a rollercoaster. We kicked off with some Trade Me bulk lot drama where what turned up wasn’t what was in the photos (missing baseplates, heaps of non-LEGO), and it escalated enough that we pushed for a refund and worked through the return process. It’s a good reminder that for every 99 good people you deal with, there’s always that one… but on the flip side, the store absolutely popped off. We had what I’m pretty sure is our best week ever on BrickLink, and I take you behind the scenes on picking and packing a stack of orders, including some massive ones (think hundreds of lots and nearly 2,000 items). I also show how I’m using BrickFreedom to track stuff like average sale value, lots, items, and restock trends (dark bluish grey and black doing what they always do). We got deep into sorting a huge minifig haul too — spotting fakes, building part-built figures, and hitting what I called “Lord of the Rings gold” with some big finds. On top of that, I share a channel update: we hit the threshold to start enabling monetization features like channel memberships, and I talk about doing deeper-dive number videos (revenue, first-year BrickLink breakdowns, inventory turnover) for members.
