In this week’s vlog I’m taking you behind the scenes of a seriously busy stretch in our BrickLink store, right after May the 4th. We had multiple LEGO hauls come in (including bulk boxes) and I walk through how I’m pulling out the “gold” while also being honest about the reality: there’s always rubbish and dead weight in bulk, and you need a discard bin for the stuff that’s too worn, discoloured, or just not worth listing. I’m picking out minifig parts, spotting interesting figures (like an Avatar minifig), and showing how quickly value can stack up when you focus on the right categories. A big goal for the week was staying consistent: upload either 500 pieces or at least $50 of value every day on top of packing orders and, you know, having a life. Minifigs helped us smash that target, and I share real numbers from the uploads (hundreds of items and hundreds of dollars in value) plus a few wins like a dinosaur selling within a couple hours of listing. I also talk through a bulk-buying tip I wish more people understood: if a seller splits a lot into multiple tubs, the “good stuff” you saw might not be in the one you’re buying—sometimes you’ve got to buy the whole lot, and often the maths just doesn’t work.
