About This Video

This week’s vlog is a proper look at the LEGO selling grind behind our BrickLink store here in Wellington. I’m running on about 20% energy after a couple of days away, but picking orders is actually pretty relaxing for me—until the order drama hits. We sorted more bulk parts, packed a bunch of orders (Technic, minifig bits, and a big light bluish gray wedge/plate order), and I showed the store exactly how it is: oversized boxes everywhere, drawers in use, and a whole lot of “reality” instead of a perfect Instagram setup. We also pushed hard on uploads—town figures, minifigure parts, and bulk plates—using BrickStore to build files efficiently. I walk through how I use the Brickognize camera feature inside BrickStore to identify parts fast (even with limited desk space), because the more we upload, the more orders we get. We hit some cool milestones too: the store is almost at 65,000 items, we’re around the 550 order mark, and I’m sitting on 10,000 parts of uploads from a haul that’s tracking at roughly 3x value. On top of that, I share a small but massive win from a yard sale pickup (sealed bags for $5), plus a sneak peek at a project we’re working on. It’s a mix of sorting systems, uploading tactics, and the honest ups and downs of running a part-time LEGO reselling business.
